Arsicci House or Casa Arsicci began as a guesthouse from an idea by Enrico Nottolini who, one day in May a few years ago discovered this huge house, immersed in the green of this fertile area while driving round Valdichiana. He decided to restructure it respecting its original form and colours so as to maintain its original atmosphere as well respecting its farming tradition.

The house is both owner occupied and open to guests. The setting is that of a flat plain encircled by hills, a panorama that is typical of this area that centuries of farming labour have rendered fertile. The house wants to differ from a certain idea of a farm holiday, fortunately a minority, made up of vllas and special effects that have nothing to do with traditional farm hospitality.

The house is restructured in faithful respect to its rural architecture typical of this part of the country. The house is offered to guests as a place that is ideal for relaxation, immersed in an oak tree filled countryside with a garden of about 4000sq.m. In its two centuries of life the house has been transformed from a place of agricultural labour with its huge cost of human fatigue, to today an isolated place to enjoy a serene, relaxing holiday. The house consists of three apartments, each with an independent entrance, of which two are destined for guests (Luna – 4 people and Sole – 4 people + 1), a total of nine in all, while the third is owner occupied. The pool (dimension 5by10m.) situated in the 4000sq.m. garden together with the setting consists of an element to guarantee both a modern and relaxing stay.
